Not the same people. Kinect does suck, but it was mostly because you had no choice about it. Also the PS Camera was never more than 60 bucks.

there was a time it was sold form third party vendors on mazon for 100 bucks or something.

and they bought that stuff, because the camera was even harder to get than the ps4 itself

those people were suckers alright. it wasn't sony doing it however so it has no reflection on the product. Sony were very smart giving the consumer a choice and not forcing it on them. They did their market research right :)
