I think it also illustrates the problem many had with Kinect. The main advertised feature for it was to navigate the XBO menus, something it seems people prefer doing with a controller, and something you could do on PS4 with a $5 mic. But, there wasn't really any must have SW to use with Kinect. Especially with them taking several months after launch to bring game sharing to the XBO.
I just find it interesting that people were crying for the removal of Kinect, while they and others are buying the PS4 Camera in droves.
