Yep, that was the whole point of that link.

Yes, the PS4 settings are definitely higher, and if given a choice between playing on a PC with a 6850 and a PS4, I'd take the PS4 version 10/10 times, but it's still very playable at 1080p on PC provided you adjust the settings correctly.

People see benches of all high or all ultra settings and think that things like 6850 are nearly useless, when that's not the case.

Shadows and lighting settings along with AA are murderers of FPS, and the game can still look good with those dialed back a bit, while keeping textures at the limit of your VRAM (and we can tell that 'high' works fine with 1GB cards honestly).

Indeed, but the 6850 is also an ancient (and out of production) card at this point. The 7770 is roughly comprable, running around 80-100$ without discounts, or you can move up to an actual good card in 7870/R9 270 for ~150$ without even hunting for discounts, come BF they will be even cheaper. The latter will likely run SoM well above anything the PS4 can do, and you can run with a cheap Anthlon without bottlenecking.

Textures will be limited to high by VRAM unless you go into high-end territory.
