Yeah but thats really only hardcore that spends that type of money, this day and age its very easy to build a PC that can outdo the X1 and PS4 for in around the same price point thanks to them launching with only middle range PC hardware , in fact within the last few years thanks to lastgen lasting so long and this gen not being as big of a jump compared to lastgen as most people thought the has never been a better time to get into PC gaming even if as a 2nd gaming device .

And much cheaper if you're simply upgrading your existing PC (provided of course you have options for upgrade).  When you have to do a rebuild, that can get costly, for sure.
