Actually, no, you're missing the point. The situation is the PS4 has a much higher ceiling, long-term, than the XB1, due to it's ~40% differential. The XB1 will improve over time, absolutely, every electronic device dependant upon human software follows this tack. However, the PS4 will also, and they have more to work with, so yes, the gap should increase, up to a point, however, as I said, that's really going to depend on whether developers want to deal with the hassle of explaining to Microsoft and their fans, why a game looks noticeably better on the PS4, which we already know developers are voluntarily attempting to avoid. So, as I said, the real differences should be apparent with the evolution of the 1st party SDK's.
