I have been playing Shadow of Mordor and some of the executions are amazing. They did an awesome job making the game feel over-the-top "epic". Sort of like the first time you played God of War 3. It's a must play if you like the Arkham games, Assassin's Creed, or Dynasty Warriors. It is basically the good parts of all 3 of those games smashed into 1 game. Now as for best combat moments ever. Honestly the Quake games. Especially 1 and 3. It is such nonstop awesome acrobatic kills that those games never get boring, even decades later.
