The first time you go into Old Haven in Borderlands. It's really hard, as you don't know where the enemies are patrolling or will spawn from when you get close. They're also some of the toughest in the game relative to what you've encountered, as you probably won't have the best selection of weapons yet. I loved it. I'd often just go back and clear it for the fun of it.
