I agree, both that is is a ridiculous situation and that minors should be protected from themselves.

The main issue is that a teacher is a figure of autorithy, which is a seductive thing. I think it is wrong to use this power to get sex. And even if th girls or boys approach him (her), he(she) should know better.

Oh well, sign of times I guess. Makes me happy that I do not have any kids.
