I know, I hate it when new games just change a single character at the end. So unoriginal. They should have gone with a name that clearly makes it stand out from the previous entry. Something like Xenoblade Chronicles XV. ---------------- OT: I'm not a big Final Fantasy fan; only played a few of the classic entries when they were ported to Game Boy Advance, and they all bored me terribly. I have a a friend who tells me the PS1 entries were the highlight though..so I want to try those when my backlog gets lighter. On the other hand, Xenoblade Chronicles was in my top 5 last gen...so the direction of my hype is clear XD. That being said, I agree with your sentiment Tbone, but I think the fact that X is Nintendo exclusive is bound to bring out fanboyish attitudes by default, either by overhyping or underhyping either game. At least some posters in this thread seems to be above that nonsense. |
Final Fantasy has roman numerals since forever. Everyone knows it's FF FIFTEEN.
In all seriousness though, Xenoblade Chronicles X is an incredibly stupid name. It really does sound like an update of sorts to the original game. It's just as dumb as Super Smash Bros. FOR 3DS/FOR WII U. I digress.

It used to, haha. Maybe that's the joke? |
If you're talking about the "Versus XIII" thing, you're delusional. Such a game never existed.
