Anti-Japanese sentiment is high in China.. So note sure how well PS4 might do..   It could suffer from this.

The average chinese man is about just as anti japanese as they are anti american. ie, they don't give a damn about politics. I've a chinese college friend and he was surprised I even thought that was a thing. Look in any of the big chinese electronics stores and you will see Sony has a decent presence. 

 

I belive Sony's PS4 strongly led the X1 vs PS4 poles in China and if they launch there in the first half of next year I can see them outselling the X1 there about 4-1.
