X1 and PS4 will fail utterly in China. The "100k" was shipped, not sold. And falloff will be brutally steep. Iphone 6 is launching in a week, expect 1k/week at best for the baseline in short order. Ps4 might do slightly better, but consoles are really hopeless there with the culture and economic stratification. Amongst the upper middle class that can afford a $500+ game console, almost everyone is working 60+ hours a week, and it's culturally looked down on to sit at home and game. More commonly people play PCs in cafes, or above all on their phones. There is also a very high quotient for showing off based on brand and class. A macbook or iPhone carries prestige, while a game console is something you would tell nobody about because it might embarrass you.
