That's.... not a good thing.

Here in Europe it is theoretically possible for anyone to start up a club at a very small level and eventually build up to become one of the best teams around. That's brilliant. American sports do have a problem in that some areas don't have teams near them. That would never be a problem in Europe, a team could just be created and if the area is big enough they will easily be able to get revenue meaning they can grow and move up the leagues and become a big team.

MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon as one of the best examples of this.
