I can list you 100 TVs that are advertised as 1080p and have a 1920x1080 resolution. Name me ONE that is advertised 1080p with a resolution other than that. Simple request if you're correct about this, right? |

Framerates or refresh rates do not change resolution. A printed photograph isn't of better or worse resolution than a movie in the same resolution, due to screen flickering at lower refresh rates the photograph may look better though.
