The Hong Kong situation has been boiling for awhile now because China is going to break its promise on the 1 Nation, 2 System agreement by only placing the Pro Mainland candidates in the upcoming election barring any moderates from running. This is not about overthrowing the current government, they just want a fair election.

 

yes and it was said that unrest was brewing in Ukraine, Iraq, Venezuela etc etc etc because the government for some reason was unfair

and yes that may be true, but isn't it strange that anytime this is reported to happen there's the strange coincidence that the country at hand is also moving against US interests?

anyway as i said i haven't really looked into this too deep and i don't really know much about the situation

Well China has been trying to take territorial waters from its neighbors, so if this is done by the US against China then so be it because China has imperialistic dreams here in Asia and it shows.
