From the footages that I saw, as a TPS enthusiast, I can tell you this game mostly aim for graphical fidelity.

The enemy AI and the camera angles are iffy at most.

Wait till the final product, two of the three games from Ready At Dawn didn't have good previews but ended up getting 85 and 92 on Metacritic.

I'm more interested in the conversation than the game per se. I'm here for TPS discussion.

Also what games from Ready at Dawn were not getting good previews? Most of their games were made under Sony supervision.

Nobody supervised those games. They were made entirely be Ready At Dawn Studio. They are Daxter (2006) and God Of War: Chains Of Olympus (2008).

Everyone was cynical about them being able to deliver as they were new and unproven and PSP was considered "incapable" of handling these games (especially God Of War) on the same scale as the PS2 without severe compromises. But they did with flying colours.
