old SKUs? Lol like what, unsold day one bundles? Oh you must mean sdk. Nope that's not nearly enough to overcome the gap. Nor diskinect mode.

if it takes extra effort, expense, and time to help alleviate hardware shortcomings, that's a failure of Microsoft, not the devs. Was it the devs fault in gen7 that the ps3 was hard as balls to code for? No, it was sony at fault 110%

Ryse has great assets run through a muddy upscaler at sub 30fps. Big whoop. ISS looks better, has higher res and framerate.

No, companies are doing what they can with the limitations and budget at hand.

The first true thing you've said, albeit the x1 version will have to lower settings if the graphics exceed the abilities of the hardware.

See #4

Yes? But x1 ddr3 is 1/3rd the throughput. Oops.

What the fuck? No, they're not even close. One is 50% larger in graphics calculation capacity AND is tied to GDDR5, while the other is fed by DDR3 + a paltry 32mb of decent memory. Oh, wait, how fast is the bottleneck to feed that 32mb? Whoops.

Capped framerate at 30. Ps4 could run destiny at 60fps with ease. Hell the x1 could too at 900p 60fps with some effort, as the esram can work at 900p without trouble. But Destiny is cross gen, they decided on 30 capped and that's it.

see #2, bad design is not the responsibility of the 3rd party devs

Second true thing you've said. Unfortunately for the x1, cpu benches show that the ddr3 holds it behind the ps4 due to the bottlenecked bandwidth. Just like a 3ghz pc with ddr3 2400 will smoke a 3.2ghz pc with ddr3 1333. Bandwidth is really important.

Well you've just blown all of our minds. I don't suppose you have a logical reason to discuss consoles that you don't care about? That's like being a baseball fan from new jersey and joining a forum to discuss basket weaving in Liberia.
