I did build a rig with i5 4670k ($150), 120ssd samsung 840 ($55), 2tb hdd, 8gb ram, gtx 780 (430) all for around 950, excluding monitor, and peripherals
There was a staples deal around..massive coupon discounts..just made 5 different accounts, price matched, and added coupon
This was all 10 months ago
