p.s. buy a decent enough motherboard and the onboard sound will beat out any soundcard you could buy, the only issue with onboard is sound getting buzzing from currents, but if you're smart about your wiring and take the time to properly ground things, it wouldnt be an issue at all.
Do not use front panel audio and expect the same quality as using the rear audio connector, regardless of if you are using onboard or an addon card.
