I think it speaks much better for the website to have members that can freely speak their minds.

I've read a LOT of RocketPig's posts, and while I don't always agree with his point of view, most of the time he takes a reasonable stance.  I haven't ever seen him react this strongly unless provoked.  And I haven't seen him threaten to squelch users for speaking their mind.  He may strongly disagree, but I haven't actually seen him tell someone their point of view isn't acceptable on VGChartz.
