Actually, that logic works perfectly. We judge a market by the amount that is sold there. For example would you consider Nigeria a bigger console market than the UK because it has like treble the population? No you wouldn't. The UK is the bigger market of the two as it sells many many many more consoles.

That's because 1.) the UK has a much larger population, 2.) it's wayy more developed, and 3.) it's an Anglophone country, so no, the logic does not follow.

1. Wrong. UK = 63,742,977 people. Nigeria = 177,155,754 people   source: https://www.cia.gov/index.html

2. Yeah, it is. But overall China isn't very developed at all. Sure it has some very developed cities, but overall it is way behind the console markets that are actually big.

3. Both the UK and Nigeria are Anglophone countries. So what does that have to do with anything?

Yeah I fucked up on the first one >_<

And no, China does not have "some" developed cities. It has a lot of them and the urban population in these cities are really large, too, despite being substantially smaller than the entire city populations.

EDIT: And care to explain this? (http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6714129 )
