I just checked PCPartPicket... are you sure no variant goes above 6 GB Vram?

I went to that web and checked the videocards by amount of memory, and only cards with more than 6GB are:

  • R9 295_ which has 8GB but it is a dual GPU cards with two 290X chips with 4Gb each one
  • Titan Z_ which has 12GB but again is a dual GPU card with 2 780Ti chips (underclocked) with 6GB each one.

Sorry.

If you want more VRAM, you can either wait for a 8GB variant of the 980, or for AMD to launch the 390X and see how many GB they have.

Still, with dual 980s you should have plenty enough power to play anything you want for a long, long time at almost anything that isn't 4K or Eyefinity/Surround with 1440/160p monitors.

Please excuse my bad English.
