So Bayonetta 2 outsells a HD remake, which was widely reported to have achieved disappointing sales at launch. And this is somehow supposed to mean Bayonetta 2 can potentially sell an unexpectedly high number of games? Let us simply be reminded of the fact that B2 first week sales are considerably lower than Xbox 360 fw sales for B1, and Wii U has a bigger install base now than 360 had then.
B2 may have a slightly higher than expected launch number in Japan, but it is roughly in line for what you would expect for this type of game on a Nintendo home console in Japan. This means its LTD will probably also be roughly in line with what would be expected. Nothing more nothing less and not something which will change the fortunes of Wii U.
