Lol, you say that as if Sony would NEVER drop the price if it weren't for competing consoles.  The PS1 and PS2 dominated, yet Sony still dropped the price when it was appropriate.

Maybe.  I think they will have a $50 off black Friday bundle this year.  Not sure if they have an equivalent in the UK, though.  I'm guessing they would probably match a permanent $50 pricecut if MS did one.  Of course, I think that will be coming next year, regardless.
