NES - Contra. It just seemed so bad-ass at the time.
SNES - None. I traded some skateboard parts for it with a rich kid, it wasn't something I was looking to buy.
PS1 - FF7. I'd discovered FF3 on the SNES and fell in love with it, so when FF7 came out, my jump to Playstation was assured.
DreamCast - Soul Calibur. Still my favorite fighting game experience ever.
PS2 - Gran Turismo: A-spec. As with Final Fantasy, I'd discovered GT on PS1 and loved it. A-spec commercials blew my mind.
PS3 - Kind of funny but the two games that had me really excited were The Last Guardian (I still remember being like :O when someone showed me the teaser site) and Uncharted 2. The former never released and I didn't really care for the latter when I played it. However, one of the first games I bought was Valkyria Chronicles, which more than justified the purchase all on its own.
Vita - P4G and the Black Friday deal.
PS4 - N/A. However, Bloodborne might end up being the clincher.
