I agree, XBox was prematurely discontinued and all XBox exclusives were released early to push a maximum amount of XBox fans towards the platform within an as short as possible timespan. The 360 did not receive enough testing and planning, everything looks like a rush job regarding the 360.

I foresee troubled times for the 360, the PS3 indeed proving to be much more powerful, the PS3 proving to have a better longterm games line-up, Blu-Ray indeed pushing HD DVD out of the market. Microsoft's FUD and Hype will probably backfire, fans will feel themselves fooled for spreading the gospel. I know one fanboy (a game reviewer!) who publicly called me names because I stated RRoD problems were widespread and he repeated and furiously defended the Microsoft Gospel that hardware issues are within industry standards and only his and others launch units were flawed (eventually he couldn't handle it for being wrong, asked his account to be deleted, will others feel similarly?).

Proving to be much more powerful? You mean with the multiplatform games with the majority giving the 360 the edge? If the PS3 was really a lot more powerful it would show even if games aren't developed for it first.

Don't even bother reading MikeB's posts. He'll say stuff he can't back up and likes to pretend he understands the hardware differences between the 360 and PS3.

The things I stated years before the PS3's release are now echoed by most 360/PS3 engine developers.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
