1.) Seperated Trophies!

you're thinking too small here.  we need a bunch of features to sort and filter.   seperating ps3 and ps4 is just one of the views we need.  sort by played date.   sort by percent complete.  sort by release date.  filter by those you've earned plats.  filter by publisher.  filter by genre.   when comparing,.. filter to only games you have in common.  sort by rarity.  ect.

2.) Playstation Miiverse!

no idea how miiverse is layed out but...

...i think my psn profile page and the ps4's activity feed should attempt to  be as facebook like as possible.  i want my "status" to be more of a post on a profile page.  i want to be able to post screens and videos to that page.  i want friends to be able to comment on the stuff i post.  and i want the activity feed to be the most recent activity of my friends from things they want to share.   the "XX played YY 4 times" is fluff and i no longer care about the activity feed.

3.) [Can't think of a feature to go here so let's skip this one]

I'll give you one of my most wanted features,..   the psn store front needs to major additions.

A) user reviews - the 5 star rating system is a good start but i want other people to explain why they gave that rating.  sometime unpopular ratings don't bother me if i don't care about the feature not being well reviewed.

B) wish list.   i want to be able to flag games i want to buy but am not going to buy right now.  as time goes on and the list of availible games reaches the thousands upon thousands of games i really want to be able to keep an eye on a few key games i'm interested in.

4.) Remove "Players Met" list!

meh.  i've had good luck with this.

how about this instead.   more apps.  spotify, amazon cloud player, and pandora specifically.  probably mp3 support too and a music player that allows me to listen to these while gaming.

5.) Organization of game library via folders!

yes, indeed.   i think they should have some pre-determined folders that you can opt in/out of.   my ps+ games.   my most recently played games.  my top rated games.  my most played games.  my digital library.  my disc game library.  games with recent updates.  games by genre.    ect and so forth.

yes,. i want to be able to make manual folders but a few sensible choices could eliminate most of my need to manually make folders and i'd appreciate not having to manage any more data than needed.

i made my edit and comments above.

If i started talking about PS4 OS features and what I thought about sony's approach to the PS4 OS, I would have to make a new thread. So for now I would just quote this and say I agree with him.

I would add though, I feel the PS4 OS is a really big oversight on Sony's part. Yes I know that features will come in time but I feel thre was a way they could have easily avoided such issues. I have a smartphone with a processor and GPU and 3GB of LPRAM that is infinately more productive than the PS4. Thats kinda mind boggling when you think of it. Sony should have simply relased a software/app development SDK to everyone and allow everyone build apps for the PS4. And by build apps I mean down to the UI frontend/dynamic menu alternatives. This approach of building evrything themselves for apps is archaic. This way google could make a chrome browser/youtube app themselves and give support that the core firmwares API allows. Utorrent could make a torrent download app, XBMC/Plex could make full featured apps and they all just put them on the PS Store.

Sony could have options fro these apps to be free and ad supported like we have on mobile devices or paid and ad free. I honestly have no idea how come sony didn't think to do this, and wonder if it would be still possible.
