Sony first because they are alreadly working on it, actually. They have been trying for some time now make console games work on their smartphones(with the xperia) and their TVs(with PS NOW). They said that they're not allowed to fail with PS4, and they mostly try to go with the indutry trends, and the trends apoint to smartphones as future of games.

M$ second because altough they said they would make more consoles on the future, they alreadly tried to make something more connect with the cloud and be service based, so i think when given the oportunity, they will make consoles that will only playback azure apps from the cloud.

Nintendo last because they are not to fond on follow anyone path, let alone adopt new bussiness model before they got proven by other, like with free-to-play.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."
