I am noob in this area. By unnecessary features what features are you saying. Thanks in advance.

Set your TV to 'Game Mode'. It turns off all the post processing (like motionflow) that could add lag and the look of the game more closely resembles what the developer had in mind. You can mess about with the settings while in game mode (i.e higher or lower black levels and gamma if too dark or washed out) but generally leave it as it is.
