Speaking of outrage over minor things, I came across something today that had me shaking my head.
There is a cross-promotional event being planned between a Japanese and an American wrestling company. One of the officials for the Japanese company said this on Twitter:
“We have too many good cards and having difficulty make it less than 10… Sorry but I don’t think there will be a room for girls this time.”
“We don’t want 5 min matches . We want to show good solid wrestling as a speciality of Japanese wrestling organization”
And it seems people on twitter lost their shit. He ended up apologizing and defending himself. Why? I have no clue, except that there are a lot of people out there waiting to be outraged at something, anything, at the drop of a hat.
