And yet, you don't have any evidence to back this notion. Besides, there are a bunch of 1080p monitors that can be bought for lower than $200, so I highly doubt that most people don't have a 1080p screen. Also, a 720p native resolution upscaled to 1080p resolution makes the picture more blurry. Doesn't matter how good the upscaler does. The picture will still end up much blurrier than a native 1080p pic. A 1080p resolution has 225% more pixels than a 720p resolution.
And if you think there's hardly any difference between the PS4 and X1 multiplats, then read my previous comment. The difference between the X1 to PS4 versions range from 144% to 225%. That's way too significant for there to be "hardly any difference"... -__-"
