Well ... yeah.  This is not a sim.  They don't want you to feel like you can't recover from a mistake or being wiped out by another car.

On topic, I think somewhere around a 78.  There will be deductions for not being revolutionary and for "not bringing anything new to the genre".

As for damage, Driveclub's damage actually looks quite good. The glass actuallys cracks and the body damage looks natural. A lot of racers don't do it right and the damaged car bodies look like crinkled paper.
