I don't see much problem, unless you think there is also a problem with timelapse taken of real life then that is a subjective matter perhaps?

Look at the shadows. They don't change direction in real life...
I've done a bunch of timelapse videos and this looks all wrong.



A fully cloudy sky also doesn't suddenly change into blue sky, and the sky changes color a lot at sunrise and sunset in real life.
It doesn't matter in game but there is something weird going on with the day/night cycle. The abrupt changes could be from editting but even then, shadows don't reverse the direction they move in, ever.
