Eh, I consider 'god' to be gender-neutral. The fact that Ashera was female doesn't lessen the achievement. Though I suppose using Yune's power might.
Also, I read the OP too fast, didn't realize this was only Melee characters, which puts at SSB at a handicap. I still hold that cartoon characters have an edge over realistic ones, as the former have a much more flexible universe. Add to that characters like Mewtwo (who can just clone the entire PSASBR cast), Ganondorf (who can only be defeated in his own universe), and Mr. Game and Watch (who can basicaly create anything out of thin air), and it seems like Smash has this.
Though of course...there isn't really a right answer to this. Just fan lolz XD
