Not too early.
Every single time one of these things happens over there, it's a downward spiral from a certain point. Barely into four digit territory is unmitigated failure of gargantuan proportions.
At this rate it will be lucky to hit 50k lifetime before the plug is pulled (or an unofficial cancellation where no stores stock it other than 1 or 2 retail, and online-only).
