well actually i was once in a course that required me to build an iphone app using an apple desktop but regardless thats a good point, i suppose i was ineffective at posting what i actually mean't which is that its a very common practice for people to determine the value of something not by using their own reasoning but by having the media or everyone around them determine it for them and while that isn't bad in itself since that's how we learn to live with those around us in harmony, for example, i do think that there are many cases both minor and major where it works to increase the perception of something's value way out of proportion or in some cases to deceive people at the price point that this product is retailing at and given its other features customers at least deserve to have a product with great build quality imo |
There is definatley a premium price applied to the product now because of its status in public opinion. i certainly like there eco system and products, but theyve more than priced me out of the market for a it. Not that i couldnt afford it but I would never spend that much on a phone, they live in your pocket and they do get scratched and damage, well before these 2 year contracts run out.
