I am not nervous, but not stupid either. I've seen a thing or two this game and I am only interested in making the search for the nuke as presise as possible. I understand why you think I might be suspicious (despite strategically leaving me out of the list of suspects) and accept that town will have to scan me, though it will be a wasted scan which is the only thing that worries me about that. So, I was just honestly trying to avoid getting into and endless round about where you try to set traps for me and then me having to go into minutea about every little detail. Not that I mind doing that, since that can be fun as well but right now I don't feel liek wasting irl time and it's not going to get town anywhere.
So, back to the list at hand.
As you know, I agree that Spurge is a likely nuke candidate so it's not like I'm doing this to try to push someone else, I just want to take the time we have to get a solid path forward for town that leads to the nuke one way or another. But, the suspicion I have of Spurge is largely connected to his backing of Padib and jump on Wright. The whole EMP scan thing has me rethinking everything padib did yesterday. Of course, it's still possible that Spurge saw padib's claims and independently jumped on a chance to get rid of Wright.
I get a good town read on White as well, so I agree with that.
The case against Eric I am not so sure about. The thing that mostly points towards him being the nuke to me is that he was prodded and had a chance to tap out, but didn't take it. He came back and posted some more nonsense. He wants to play, but doesn't want to do anything. The thing that doesn't sit so well for me is that if he is the nuke, the notorious lurking and constant stalling is almost too obvious. I get the feeling he is just a really new player who doesn't know what to do. He's supposed to be back today with more excellent analysis and thoughts. I am not holding my breath. Acctually, the more I type of this paragraph, the more likely it seems he is the nuke. We need to get rid of him one way or another.
So let's say padib is able to kill with his role (though it seems more likely he can attack and who knows if his attack is strogn enough to kill on it's own) I agree he should go after Eric. Pretending that you kill spurge toDay and he is not the nuke and padib kills eric, how do we make sure scum doesn't kill the same people as we target? can we trust them to be smart enough to go after the nuke list or will they try to gun for power roles?
