Here's why. No Man's Sky and Fast Racing Neo are both third party. Even though they're cheap indie games and they're both guaranteed to be overrated because of the price, they're also third party.
Third party games sell on Sony and Microsoft consoles. Most Nintendo fans don't even blink at anything third party on Nintendo consoles. Mystery solved.
It could also be that No Man's Sky has been hyped up for awhile while no one's heard of this game. That, and as good as Wipeout is, it doesn't have a very large fanbase. Look at how amazingly well Wipeout 2048 sold on the Vita as a launch title. It sold so well that Sony closed down Liverpool Studios.
