SE like any other company will go where the money is. They have tried their hand at mobile with mixed results and all those console games selling 6-30M copies must have them somewhat excited.
If FF15 is as big a success as they hope and somehow sells over 6-8M copies, be rest assured there will be an influx of games from them again. It has practically taken Japan an entire generation of consoles to catch up to HD gaming. In the past year we have heard more rumors of JRPGs for current gen consoles than we did for the entire 7th generation.
