You make mention that Xenogears and Xenosaga was rushed to their completion right? Xenogears was, sure. They didn't have the time to finish the entire second half of the game so it's a lot of text. Xenosaga though? It wasn't rushed to completion until the third game, and t hat was only because the main writer quit. Xenosaga 3 also happened to be the best in that franchise. The first one had a great story but the gameplay was horrible. The second one had horrible gameplay and the storyline while decent, could be skipped completely. If they pissed excellence, every one of the Xenosaga games would have been great not just the "rushed" third one. And what about Project X Zone? I've never played it, but I've heard that while it's fun at first, it becomes very boring very quickly and stays that way for the rest of the game. That the only good thing about the game is the fanservice and flashy combos, but after the first dozen or so times, they get old. Would you call this "pissing quality." Just because their latest game is good doesn't mean they haven't released some bad games. |
Xenosaga Episode II was made pre acquisition and who knows what it could have branched into had the six part series been.... Well... A six part series instead of three.
Project X Zone is great, I'm sorry if you or your friends didn't like it, but every game has their people that do not like it. That's just the facts of life.
