That's the way I remember it, and as you showed Destiny sales on 360 are higher than TF, despite the 360 being 6 months further along its gradual drop off into retirement. Having said that, I don't disagree with the idea that the delay impacted 360 sales of TF.
I don't think the delay caused people to run out and buy XB1's who weren't already going to buy one (something MS no doubt hoped would happen), but it gave time for the hype to die down and allow people to assess the game more objectively. It's became clear quite soon after release that though TF was a good game, it wasn't 'must have' like it'd been hyped leading up to it's release.
There is also the case that sales of the XB1 version are artificially inflated by the large amount of bundling that occurred for XB1 and not 360. So the sales of the 360 version are more indicative of TF's true natural demand
