After they were acquired by Nintendo, they seem to not only have been trusted in handling Nintendo's major franchises (such as their help in the development of Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Animal Crossing New Leaf, and Pikmin 3), but have released what is widely regarded as the greatest JRPG of 7th gen with Xenoblade Chronicles. This is a MAJOR feat considering how far removed from the rest of the series the game actually is. |
Xenogears and Xenosaga were certainly rushed to completion, but those were my favorite games when I was young.
