1. Chrono Cross (Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere and an incredible yet complex plot that deals with quantum physics and inter dimensional travel. Coupled with an amazing soundtrack!)
2. Persona 2: Innocent Sin (Awesome story, enjoyable characters, great atmosphere and a fantastic soundtrack)
3. Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade (The one with Roy..)
4. Suikoden (Very interesting concept and great atmosphere involving Chinese empires. Have only played the first one. Definitely want to play S2.)
5. Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation (Very large atmosphere with unique dream world to explore through. Great interactions with party members outside of battle)
