I love this game and I don't even know why, I just can't seem to stop playing. One thing is, I always play with friends, so maybe that's a reason it's tons of fun (PVE and PVP), even if it does get repetitive at times.
That said, I completely understand why people have issues with it, and I don't disagree. It's just, I enjoy it much more than those issues bother me. I feel Bungie has created a gold mine, they just need to work things out and bring out it's full potential
