The team does not infer with the FFXIII team so the only game that can have caused a shift of staff is FFXIV:ARR. Actually its obvious that that is what must have happened.
What we do know is that this game has been indevelopment for more than 6 years and its 50% complete.

We do know that the game was announced a long time ago. That its production halted to a crawl because of other games, and because of the hardware's limitations. We also know that they weren't paid to do almost nothing. Try again.
