I still think PlayStation TV has the edge in games... and its feature set comes really close to FireTV including Hulu, Netflix, RedBox and Video Unlimited. It also has Remote Play and PlayStation Now coming. The Fire TV includes very easy voice navigation. Both are $99 in the US and both are a little more to get a controller bundled in. Both do music, both have devices associated with them that let you take content with you. Fire TV gives you a free app a day and access to many different movies and shows through a prime membership. PlayStation TV gives you free games every month and discounts as part of their PS+ membership which, like Prime is usable across multiple devices. Both devices are feature rich. I would suggest both to anyone and both are portable/easy to travel with. It really depends on your enteirtainment needs.
