Does MS really deserve praise for "listening" to consumers ??

We live in a time where no matter what MS does, nearly everyone has to look at them negatively because it's the "cool thing" to do right now or whatever. If Sony were to make a mistake of some sort, a lot of people seem to let it slide regardless of how bad it is.
