I don't see why Scotland should have its own powers, the point of being one nation is to be one nation. Just because Westminster/parliament is in England doesn't make it an English parlament. It is British.

The problem comes from how the constituencies are layed out. It is based on population and while Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have a decent populations, England's is so much bigger. While Scotland has 60 or so constituencies, England has over 500 so many think that the Scottish voices are not being heard. 500 people voice the concerns of the English, 60 voice the concerns of the Scottish. Althought many don't see it as this way (you and me probably see it as 655 voice the concerns of the UK) when it comes to problems or issues that concern Scotland, Wales or NI more/only, having 500 English voices outweighing them is seen as unfair.

Hmm, pie.
