It is the nature of this kind of thing but it also means that the country is more likely to have independence on it's mind at all times, if it wants to ever try for Independence again. Now with Salmond gone, Scottish parliament won't be focusing on Independence anytime soon so they can focus on Scotland instead, help and support Scotland and help the rest of the country rid us of the Tories. On the former, I didn't even know such a thing as extreme unionism existed (I guess it does thinking about Irish issues), arrogance of idiots is something that knows no bounds. Of course as a pacifist in general, I find the idea of rallying or being part of some kind of mob weird, so what these idiots are up to baffles me.

The SNP are still the leading party, there will just be a new leader. I reckon it'll be Nicola Sturgeon, unless they go for a fresh new face to lead future generations.
