Not much PS4 is so popular in Canada that they can get away with raising the price of console. PS4 is too popular right now for it's own good, they don't really have to do anything in order to sell console. Heck they've done so good with any software to support it. It goes against the gaming trend software sells consoles, I think last generation of console was too long and gamers were very eager to switch to current generation and PS4 is the most future proof console.
