Just a bit longer for us in non-PAL non-JP regions! EDIT: 9AM PST is what I'm hearing for those in NA region. That's five hours from the time of this edit.

eShop Demo is identical to CN Demo, with the familiar 30-use restriction levelled upon the demo found in the eShop.

Story as follows:

The wait is over

Today all the tears and howling have ended, as Nintendo has officially released the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS demo on the EU eShop! A version was released a week ago to random members of their Club Nintendo scheme, but now it has been made available to all.

You can find it by navigating through the standard menus or you can let technology do all the hard work and simply scan this QR code provided by Nintendo's official European Twitter account:

This version of the demo is identical in every way to the one released earlier in a gameplay sense, but do be aware that it like most demos it has a limit of 30 uses – we're predicting that many 3DS consoles may be left plugged in for a fortnight.

There's no indication that the North American version has been released yet, but we're sure to see it at some point later today.
